ALL Sods need to be irrigated everyday for the first 2 weeks after you lay it. Check it to be sure it stays moist at all times. This may require irrigating more times per day depending on weather.
For Zoysia, Bermuda, and Centipede: After first 2 weeks, you need to irrigate 2 times a week in mild temperatures. 90 + degree weather, 3 times a week.
For Fescue: After the first 2 weeks irrigate 3 times per week in mild temperatures. In 90 + degree weather water every day.
The best time to irrigate is early in the morning. Irrigating late in the evening promotes disease. You want your grass to be dry before the sun goes down.
